Sweet pepper variety SHOK is a mid-season, high-yielding vegetable, ideal for cultivation in open ground. The plant reaches a height of 50-70 cm, features a strong stem and moderate leafiness, evenly laden with fruit. It forms approximately 15-20 large, oval-cube-shaped fruits with smooth skin, measuring 8-9 cm in length and 6-7 cm in diameter. Fruit wall thickness is 6-9 mm, and weight ranges from 140 to 200 grams. The fruits have dense, juicy flesh with pronounced flavor and distinctive aroma. Fruit color changes from deep green at technical maturity to dark red at biological maturity. The first harvest is possible 110-125 days after germination. The variety is resistant to blossom end rot, verticillium wilt, and other diseases, contributing to stable yields. SHOK pepper is intended for fresh consumption, home cooking, canning, and freezing, as well as for transportation and storage for over two months without loss of taste or appearance.
