PETROVCHANKA

Petrovchanka pepper — an early-maturing variety of sweet pepper, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. From germination to the beginning of fruit ripening, it takes approximately 130-135 days. The plant is medium-height, reaching 80-100 cm, and has moderate leafiness, which ensures good air circulation and fruit illumination.

Fruits of the Petrovchanka variety have a conical shape and reach up to 15 cm in length with a weight of about 150 g. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and in biological ripeness, they turn bright red. The fruit wall thickness is 5-6 mm, making them juicy and succulent. The flavor qualities are high: the peppers are sweet, aromatic, and juicy, making them versatile for use. They are ideal for canning, stuffing, and fresh consumption.

For sowing, only germinated seeds should be used, which germinate at a temperature of 25-28°C within approximately 15 days. The variety is resistant to most pepper diseases, contributing to stable yields. The recommended planting density is 4 plants per square meter. The yield in open ground reaches about 7 kg per square meter, and in protected ground, it can range from 8 to 10 kg per square meter.
