SHOTOPO

The "ShotoPo" pepper variety is a spicy, high-yielding, and early-maturing type that begins fruiting on day 110-120 after germination. Plants are semi-determinate, compact, and grow to a height of 55-70 cm, requiring support. Fruits are narrow-conical, 20-25 cm long, with a wall thickness of 2-3 mm and weighing 20-30 g. They have a distinctive shape resembling a corkscrew, with each pepper uniquely shaped. At biological maturity, they are glossy and bright red, aromatic, making them ideal for sandwiches, pickling, canning, and for making sauces and spices.

The variety is characterized by high yields, reaching up to 2.5 kg per square meter, and good adaptability to both open-field and protected ground cultivation. It is resistant to overwatering and a complex of diseases, simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. With abundant watering, the fruit's spiciness is moderate, ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 Scoville units; however, under water stress, the flavor becomes more intense, allowing adjustment of spiciness according to growing conditions.
