Vienna White is a mid-season kohlrabi variety maturing in 65-80 days from seedling emergence to technical maturity. The plant forms large white fruits with an exquisite taste and high nutritional value, including significant sugar, vitamin C, and calcium content. The fruits have a flat-round shape, weighing 80-100 grams with a diameter of 7-9 cm, featuring tender and juicy flesh, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salads, and first courses.
The variety is distinguished by a uniform harvest yield and good fruit preservation. The leaf rosette is of medium size, with a diameter of 45-85 cm, ensuring plant compactness. Vienna White cabbage is resistant to heat and drought, allowing successful cultivation in open ground in spring and early summer. For planting, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings at the end of March — beginning of April, followed by pricking out at the seedling leaf stage and transplanting into the ground in May at a 50x20 cm scheme.
Plant care is simple and includes regular watering, making this variety universal and suitable even for beginner gardeners. The variety's yield reaches 6-7 kg per square meter, confirming its high productivity and economic attractiveness for cultivation on household plots.
