The Pilot pepper variety is a medium-height semi-determinate plant with dark green, large, egg-shaped leaves. The period from germination to technical maturity is 110-120 days, and to biological maturity — 130-140 days. The plant is characterized by moderate leafiness and high resilience, including tolerance to yellowing and resistance to verticillium wilt.

Fruits of the Pilot variety have conical or cone-shaped forms, broad and large, with smooth, glossy surfaces and weakly defined ridges. In the technical maturity phase, they are light green, and at biological maturity, they acquire a dark red hue. Fruit mass varies from 160 to 300 grams depending on growing conditions and ripeness stage. The fruits have high storability, making them convenient for storage and transportation.

The Pilot variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. It is appropriate for fresh market use and processing. The potential yield of this variety reaches 80-90 tons per hectare, indicating its high productivity and economic attractiveness for agricultural production.
