Onion Lvivska

Yield Reliability and Crop Management

The 'Lvivska' onion is a field-proven solution for growers focusing on predictable outcomes. As an operator, you will value this variety for its consistency: the 90-100 day growth cycle allows for precise harvest scheduling and logistics planning. Developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS, it is specifically optimized for local climate conditions, ensuring minimal risk of performance issues during the season.

Handling and Field Performance

This crop operates like a low-maintenance, reliable workhorse. The round bulbs, encased in dense, bronze-yellow skin, handle mechanical harvesting well, maintaining structural integrity. The white, juicy flesh makes it a premium choice for the salad market, where customers value its balanced flavor profile. Key operational parameters include:

• Vegetation: 90–100 days, simplifying maintenance and scheduling.
• Shape: Uniform and rounded, perfectly suited for automated calibration and packaging lines.
• Market usage: Fresh market and salad production.

For an agronomist, this variety is a convenient asset; it does not require specialized or complex management techniques and responds reliably to standard irrigation and fertilization. Its inherent adaptability makes it resilient enough to handle minor deviations in care schedules during peak season.
