CRUSADER

Sweet pepper CRUSADER F1 is an early hybrid from Dutch selection by Syngenta, intended for cultivation in open ground. The vegetative period from seedling transplanting to first harvest is approximately 65 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is strong, medium to tall, with abundant foliage and even fruit set, contributing to stable and high yields of large fruits.

Fruits have a cube shape and are dark red when fully ripe, green in technical maturity. The average weight of one pepper reaches 220 grams. The fruit walls are fleshy and thick, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for all types of processing, both in home cooking and in vegetable processing plants. The fruits have an appealing appearance, enhancing their attractiveness for sale in new markets.

The CRUSADER hybrid exhibits high resistance to various viral and bacterial diseases, including potato virus Y (strains 0, 1, 2), tobacco mosaic virus, and bacterial spot. Thanks to its strong immunity and rapid adaptation to different growing conditions, this variety ensures stable yields and high-quality produce.
