Sweet pepper Telestar F1 — an ultra-early hybrid from the Dutch selection company Hazera, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is low-growing, compact, and well-leafed, with strong stems that provide protection for the fruits from sunburn. The vegetation period is approximately 60 days from transplanting seedlings, enabling an early and abundant harvest.

Telestar F1 fruits have a cube-shaped form with a highly wrinkled surface, measuring 9-11 cm in length and approximately 9 cm in diameter. The average fruit weight ranges from 200 to 300 grams. The thickness of the juicy and succulent flesh reaches 9-10 mm, distinguished by a pleasant moderate aroma and sweet taste. Fruit color changes from green at the technical ripeness stage to a deep red at biological ripeness. Due to its dense flesh, the flavor remains intact during prolonged transportation and storage.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major viral and bacterial diseases of solanaceous crops, including tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), potato virus Y (PVY 0,1), and bacterial spot (Xcv-P1,2,3). This makes Telestar F1 a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The pepper is ideal for fresh consumption as well as for home cooking — salads, stuffing, and grilling.
