Pepper Freshness

Stable yields in a variable climate

The «Svezhest» pepper variety, developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production, is a classic representative of the crop chosen for its predictability. Unlike many F1 hybrids that require strict adherence to agricultural technology, this variety demonstrates high adaptability to temperature fluctuations, which is critical for regions with unstable summers.

Fruit characteristics

• Type: sweet pepper.
• Shape: conical.
• Color: transition from emerald green at technical maturity to bright red when fully ripe.

The main strength of this variety is its versatility. Thanks to its firm but juicy walls, the fruits are perfect for fresh salads and all types of heat treatment, including freezing. The conical shape simplifies the stuffing process, making it a favorite among home cooks.

Who is this variety for?

«Svezhest» is optimal for gardeners who prefer reliability and the ability to use their own seeds in the next season. It does not require specific fertilizers and shows stable production even on average fertility soils. However, keep in mind that, like most classic varieties, it responds well to regular watering and requires timely bush staking due to its heavy yield.
