Pepper Tongua

Czech breeding excellence for modern agriculture

The «Tongua» pepper hybrid is the result of extensive work by Czech breeders, focused on developing high-yielding crops tailored for temperate climates. Its market debut in 2025 marks a new milestone in vegetable production, emphasizing technological efficiency and yield stability.

History and Registration

«Tongua» officially received its status in 2025, following its state registration in Ukraine. This process confirms that the hybrid meets the rigorous quality standards required in the modern agricultural sector. Its Czech origin ensures high adaptability to fluctuating weather conditions, which is particularly vital for regions with unstable temperature regimes during the growing season.

The F1 breeding method allows «Tongua» to exhibit significant heterosis. This translates into concrete benefits: increased growth vigor, fruit uniformity, and resilience against environmental stressors. Among the 2025 market arrivals, this hybrid stands out for its ability to maintain high commercial quality even under intensive plant stress.
