Pepper Facilo

Technological Pepper for Professionals: Fasilo by Hazera

The 2025 novelty from the Israeli breeding company Hazera Seeds Ltd, the Fasilo hybrid, is a solution for those focused on intensive greenhouse cultivation. Officially registered in Ukraine in 2025, this pepper meets the demands of modern greenhouse operations targeting the fresh produce market.

Plant Architecture and Productivity

Fasilo stands out for its balanced vegetative mass. It is a medium-sized plant with a sprawling habit and shortened internodes in the upper part, allowing for efficient greenhouse space utilization. The presence of anthocyanin coloration in the hypocotyl and nodes is a varietal trait indicating high adaptability. The leaf canopy is well-developed: broad, dark green leaves ensure powerful photosynthesis, which is essential for forming a high-quality yield.

Fruit Characteristics: The Quality Standard

The main value of Fasilo lies in its fruits. It is a blocky, square-shaped pepper with excellent commercial characteristics:

• Appearance: The fruits have an intense green color at technical maturity and a vibrant red color at biological maturity. The glossy surface and high color intensity make them highly attractive for retail chains.
• Geometry: With a medium length, the fruit has a large diameter, resulting in the classic "square" shape most sought after in the fresh market segment.
• Texture: The pronounced waviness of the pericarp, combined with a smooth or slightly wrinkled surface, gives the fruits a recognizable look.

The absence of a cavity in the peduncle and high wall density make Fasilo an excellent choice for long-distance transportation without loss of marketability. This hybrid is designed for those seeking predictable results in protected cultivation and aiming to supply premium-quality produce to the market.
