FLAGMAN — this is a high-yielding early large-fruited hybrid of sweet pepper, intended for cultivation both in open ground and in protected soil. The plant features a strong and robust stem, reaching up to 1.5 meters in height. The fruits have a trapezoidal shape, smooth and glossy surface, weight ranging from 200 to 250 grams, and wall thickness of 8-10 mm. In technical maturity, the peppers are green, while at biological maturity they turn bright orange. The average fruit length is 170-200 mm, and diameter — 80-110 mm. This hybrid is distinguished by excellent taste qualities, good storability, and high transportability, making it universally applicable. FLAGMAN seeds germinate at a temperature of 25-28°C within 15 days, and it is recommended to use only pre-germinated seeds. The hybrid is shade-tolerant and tolerant to low temperatures, expanding its cultivation possibilities. It is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and tolerant to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). For optimal growth, a planting density of about 3 plants per square meter with formation of 2-3 stems is recommended. Yield ranges from 6.0-8.0 kg/m² in open ground and approximately 10.0 kg/m² in protected soil. Pepper is generally a popular spice used in culinary arts to impart distinctive aroma and flavor to dishes. There are numerous varieties of pepper, including black, white, green, and others, each possessing unique characteristics. In particular, white ground pepper, obtained from white peppercorns, is characterized by a delicate flavor and absence of spicy heat, making it a popular choice in European cuisine. It does not affect the appearance of dishes, as it does not leave black specks, which is appreciated from an aesthetic standpoint. The company "Flagman" produces various pepper varieties, available both wholesale and retail.
