FISHKA

FISHKA pepper is a medium-maturing, high-yielding variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers. The period from germination to technical maturity is 90-110 days. The plant is semi-determinate, compact, and reaches a height of 40-50 cm, which simplifies care and harvest. Fruits are conical, large, glossy, dark red, weighing 100-120 g. They have very high taste qualities: juicy and sweet flesh, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling.

The variety is characterized by high yield and good adaptability to various growing conditions. For obtaining high-quality seedlings, seeds should be soaked for 8-12 hours, then lightly dried and sown in February-March. Seedlings are pricked out and transplanted into pots or greenhouses, and planted in open ground after the end of winter, usually at the beginning of May. Plants prefer loamy, sandy-loam, and riverbank soils and do not tolerate heavy clay or acidic soils.

For successful growth and fruiting, it is recommended to follow optimal planting schemes with a spacing of 40x40, 50x40, or 60x40 cm. After transplanting seedlings, it is beneficial to perform 1-2 waterings with an interval of 3-5 days to improve root establishment.
