RED CANDY PEPPER

The sweet pepper 'Red Candy' is an early-maturing hybrid with a period from germination to technical maturity of 85-95 days and to biological maturity of 115-130 days. The plants are low-growing, reaching 40-60 cm in height, making them ideal for cultivation in limited spaces, including plastic greenhouses and as potted plants. The fruits are spherical, small in size, weighing 40-50 grams, with thick flesh and a wall thickness of 6-7 mm.

The fruits are distinguished by their bright decorative appeal and high sweetness, which is especially appreciated by children. In technical maturity, they have a yellowish-green color, and upon reaching biological maturity, they turn into vibrant red. Due to their characteristics, the 'Red Candy' pepper is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouse conditions and in household pots.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seedlings in early March, with transplanting in the cotyledon stage and planting in the ground by late May. Plant training involves removing side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, which promotes better fruit development. The optimal planting scheme is 30x40 cm, with a density of 3-4 plants per square meter in greenhouses. Yield per plant reaches 0.8-1.0 kg, making this hybrid highly productive and convenient for cultivation.
