Bell pepper Pirouet F1

Reliable Orange Pepper Yields

The «Pirouette F1» hybrid from the Swiss breeding company Syngenta is a primary choice for professional vegetable growers who prioritize predictability and high product quality. This sweet pepper is widely cultivated in both open fields and plastic greenhouses, where maintaining excellent taste profiles and vibrant fruit color is essential for commercial success.

Protection Against Viral Threats

A key feature of the «Pirouette F1» is its strong genetic resistance to a complex of diseases that often jeopardize crop yields. The hybrid is resistant to the tobacco mosaic virus and other dangerous viral pathogens. This resistance allows farmers to reduce pesticide applications and lower the costs associated with treatments against disease vectors.

Technical Specifications and Harvest Management

For efficient farm management, understanding maturity timelines and commercial appearance is critical. «Pirouette F1» allows for precise harvest planning, with a standard fruit weight of 100–120 grams. The transition from intense green in technical maturity to a brilliant orange in biological maturity serves as a clear visual indicator for the start of harvesting.

• Type: Sweet pepper.
• Fruit Weight: 100–120 grams.
• Color: From green (technical) to orange (biological).
• Resistance: Tobacco mosaic virus, viral mosaics.

This hybrid is highly recommended for supply chains that prioritize consistent fruit shape and vivid color. Due to the compact size of the fruit, it is ideally suited for standardized packaging, making it a preferred choice for commercial vegetable production.
