Pepper variety Bubentsy is a medium-early type with very sweet, small fruits weighing 25 to 45 grams. The plant is moderately leafy and spreading, reaching a height of 30-40 cm. The fruits have a cube-shaped form with a ribbed surface; immature fruits are green, and upon ripening, they turn brown. The fruit walls are 4-5 mm thick, making them particularly suitable for whole-fruit canning and preparation of light snacks. The ripening period is 95-105 days after sowing.
Growing pepper Bubentsy begins with sowing seedlings in early March, followed by transplanting at the cotyledon stage. Planting in open ground is recommended by late May. To shape the plant, all side shoots and leaves should be removed up to the first fork, which promotes better development of main fruits. The optimal planting scheme is 30x40 cm, providing sufficient space for growth and fruiting.
The variety is characterized by good storability and resistance to diseases, making it convenient for storage and transportation. Pepper Bubentsy is excellent for fresh consumption, especially in salads, due to its sweet taste. However, it is not ideal for stuffing, which should be considered when choosing application methods.
