YELLOW BISON — an early, large-fruited sweet pepper variety with bright yellow glossy fruits of cube-conical shape. The average fruit size is about 22 cm long and 11 cm wide, weighing between 220 to 280 grams. The fruit walls are 10–11 mm thick, ensuring juiciness and fleshiness. The plant is vigorous, reaching 60 to 90 cm in height, and requires sturdy support and pruning for optimal growth and fruiting. The fruits are highly resistant to damage and rarely crack, allowing them to maintain their market appearance and freshness after harvest.

This variety is highly productive, yielding up to 10 kg per square meter, and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. It is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing crop reliability. The maturity period ranges from 93 to 104 days from germination to technical ripeness, making it an early-maturing variety. It is recommended for cultivation in sunny conditions, especially in northern and central regions, with a planting scheme of 40x80 cm and mandatory pruning of side shoots and leaves up to the first fork.

YELLOW BISON fruits have a sweet and very juicy flavor, making them versatile for various uses. They are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for frying, stewing, and stuffing. Their prolonged fruiting allows harvesting until late autumn, ensuring a steady supply of tasty and nutritious vegetables. Sowing seedlings is recommended in late February, with transplanting in the open ground suggested in late May.
