BALOVEN'

Sweet pepper variety 'Baloven' is a mid-season type with a maturation period of 115 to 120 days. The plant is medium-height, reaching 70-80 cm, with a semi-branching bush form. Leaves are large, green, and strongly wrinkled. Recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, where the variety demonstrates high yield and resistance to stress conditions such as temperature fluctuations and heat.

The 'Baloven' variety produces cube-shaped fruits, 8-10 cm in diameter and 7-9 cm in height, weighing 150 to 200 grams. Wall thickness varies from 6 to 10 mm depending on agronomic conditions. Immature fruits are light green or yellowish, while ripe ones become bright red, juicy, and sweet with excellent flavor. Fruits are three- to five-celled, suitable for fresh consumption, home cooking, and canning.

Cultivation agronomy includes sowing seedlings in late February, pinching in the cotyledon stage, and transplanting into the ground by late May. It is recommended to form the plant by removing side shoots and leaves up to the first fork to improve yield. Planting scheme is 40x60 cm. Yield under plastic cover reaches 4.7 to 7.3 kg per square meter, making it attractive for greenhouse cultivation.
