Description Victoria
The Victoria pear is an early autumn or winter variety with large fruits weighing 200 to 400 grams, featuring a proper pear shape and smooth skin. Fruit color ranges from green with pink or red blush to greenish with numerous visible lenticels. The flesh is firm, tender, cream-yellow or white, with a pleasant sour-sweet taste and distinct aroma. As it ripens, the flesh becomes oily and moderately juicy, making the fruits especially delicious for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, desserts, and drying.

The Victoria pear tree is medium-sized with a rounded-pyramidal crown that does not become overly dense, promoting good air circulation and sunlight exposure. The variety is highly winter-hardy, including frost resistance of flower buds, and resistant to fungal diseases including scab. Due to these qualities, along with drought tolerance, the pear grows well on various soil types and is suitable for cultivation in different climatic zones.

Fruits ripen in early autumn — from mid-September to the first decade of October depending on climatic conditions. Harvesting occurs early, with fruits holding well on the tree and exhibiting high marketability and transportability. Storage is possible for up to one month at room temperature and up to 3-4 months in a refrigerator or cellar, preserving their freshness and flavor for an extended period.
