The grape variety Flora, also known as Lora, is an early-ripening table type, reaching maturity in 110-115 days. Its clusters are large, conical, medium density or loose, weighing from 800 grams to 1 kilogram and more, sometimes up to 2.5 kilograms. The berries are oval or cylindrical, large (7-10 grams), light salad green with a slight sun blush and covered with a white waxy bloom. The flesh is firm with a pleasant taste, featuring muscat notes, and the sugar-acid balance (about 20% sugar and 5-8 g/l acid) ensures a harmonious flavor.
Flora is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and adverse conditions. It is not affected by gray mold, has increased resistance to mildew (3 points), and withstands frosts down to -21-23°C. Berry splitting is extremely rare, which contributes to good transportability and long-term storage. The vines of this variety ripen well, with medium-height shoots, and 60-80% of them bear fruit. Strong attachment of berries to the pedicel also contributes to harvest preservation during transportation.
Flora is adaptable in terms of care and adjusts well to various climatic conditions. The vines can be shaped using medium or short pruning. The female flower type is well-pollinated, ensuring stable fruiting. When grown on vigorous rootstocks, berry size can be increased, although this may affect ripening time and sugar content. This variety is a reliable choice for grape growers who value early harvest with excellent taste qualities and high disease resistance.
