Description Talgar Beauty
Autumn variety, developed at the Kazakh Fruit and Grape Breeding Research Institute by breeder A. N. Katsyenko from seeds of open pollination of the 'Lesnaya Krasavitsa' variety. Widely cultivated in amateur gardening in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions of Russia, and Ukraine, it has been officially approved for the North Caucasus region.

Medium-sized tree with a broad pyramidal crown, moderate density, and hanging branches. Main branches diverge from the trunk at nearly a right angle. Bark on the trunk and main branches is gray and flaking. The predominant type of fruit formation is clusters.

Medium-thick, straight, hairless, brown shoots. Numerous, medium-sized, easily visible buds. Large, conical, hairless, tightly pressed buds. Leaves are large, egg-shaped, long-pointed, dark green, smooth, shiny, with delicate venation. Leaf blade slightly concave like a boat, hairless, with finely serrated edges. Petiole long.
Flowering occurs in mid-season.

Fruits are above average size (mass 170 g), elongated pear-shaped, bottle-like, sometimes tapered at the apex. Skin is smooth, shiny, oily, light yellow with a bright crimson blush on the sun-exposed side covering the upper half of the fruit. Numerous small lenticels; green on uncolored portions, white on sun-exposed sides, clearly visible. Pedicel medium length and thickness, slightly curved. Calyx very small, absent in some fruits. Receptacle narrow, smooth, deep; calyx open. Seed cavity medium, elliptical, chambers closed and small.
Flesh is creamy, medium density, crisp, fine-grained, very juicy, sweet, and flavorful. Under Kuban conditions, it contains: sugars — 9.0%, titratable acids — 0.37%, dry matter — 15.0%, ascorbic acid — 7.0 mg/100g, P-active catechins — 54.0 mg/100g dry matter.
Harvesting occurs at the end of September; consumer readiness in October–November. Fruits have good storability, can be stored until December in refrigerated warehouses without developing spots. Late harvesting is not recommended for this variety.
Fruits harvested earlier are better for storage. Transportability is good.
Fruits remain firmly attached to the tree and are resistant to mechanical damage.
Trees begin fruiting in the 4th–5th year. Fruit production is abundant and annual. Winter hardiness and drought resistance are relatively high. Characterized by high resistance to fungal diseases.

Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness and resistance to scab, early fruiting and high yield, as well as attractive fruit shape and appearance, and long storability.

Disadvantages of the variety: crisp flesh, browning of flesh if harvested late.
