RED CAVCAZ

The Red Cavkaz pear variety is an early-ripening variety obtained by crossing the Williams and Forest Beauty varieties. Fruit ripening occurs at the end of August – beginning of September. The fruits are large, greenish-yellow with a pink blurred blush, have a correct truncated-conical shape and a mass from 150 to 270 grams. The flesh is white, dense, melting, acidic-sweet with a light aroma, making the taste especially harmonious, especially if the fruits are picked a little earlier than full maturity and ripened for 6-8 days.

The tree is of medium height with a pyramidal crown, slightly spreading in young age. The variety is not demanding on soil conditions, has high winter hardiness and disease resistance, which ensures stable and high yield. Fruiting is mixed, which contributes to good development and quality of the crop. For better pollination, it is recommended to use varieties Conference, Clapps Favorite and Goverla.

Red Cavkaz is distinguished by good fruit storage and drought resistance, which makes it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
