Todes

The 'Todes' apple tree is a medium-sized tree with a sparse, rounded-conical crown. This late-winter variety is characterized by high yield and regular fruiting, which begins on the 3rd-4th year after planting on a medium-sized rootstock. The tree has good drought resistance and moderate frost tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in the Forest Steppe and Polissia regions of Ukraine.

The fruits of the 'Todes' apple tree are large, weighing 170–200 grams, with an elongated-conical shape. Their skin is thick and smooth, colored greenish-yellow with a blurred cherry-red blush. The flesh is creamy, firm, juicy, and has a pleasant sweet-tart flavor, making the apples ideal for fresh consumption and baking. Harvesting occurs at the end of September, and the consumer shelf life lasts from December to May without loss of flavor. The fruits have high transportability.

The 'Todes' variety is immune to scab and powdery mildew, reducing the need for frequent treatments and simplifying care. With proper care, one tree can yield up to 120 kg of fruit. Seedlings root easily, are grown under Ukrainian conditions, and have a reliable root system with protection against drying out, ensuring successful planting and further plant development.
