SCROMNICA

The Scromnica pear is a high-yield fruit variety with elongated pear-shaped fruits of medium size, weighing about 130 grams. The skin is thin, slightly rough, with a dark red blush on the sun-exposed side. The flesh is white, juicy, and buttery, with a sweet taste, a slight acidity, and a mild aroma. Harvest usually occurs towards the end of August, and the fruits can be stored for up to three weeks under optimal conditions.

The tree is of medium height with an oval, moderately dense canopy that becomes drooping with age. The plant is resistant to powdery mildew, spotting, and rust, but has medium resistance to scab and low frost resistance of the fruit buds. Scromnica loves sunlight and moisture and is hardy, making it suitable for growing in fruit orchards, especially in regions with a moderate climate.

Scromnica pear seedlings are available at nurseries with a closed root system, which facilitates planting and care.
