The Marshal Zhukov pear variety was bred in 1989 by crossing the ELS Volozha and Moscow Bergamot varieties, with A.A. Kuznetsov as the author. The tree is medium-sized with a pyramidal, medium-density crown. The fruits of this variety have a widely pear-shaped or ovoid shape, weighing about 160 grams, sometimes reaching up to 370 grams. The fruit skin is of medium thickness, smooth and shiny, with a base color ranging from light green to yellow, with a blurred brownish-red blush and well-visible subcutaneous dots.
