Description
Dekanka Krasnokut'ska — a winter pear variety developed at the Krasnokutskaya Selection Station by crossing the varieties Bere Bosk and Sen Germen. The tree is medium-sized with a wide inverted pyramid-shaped crown, characterized by rapid fruiting, high stable yield, disease resistance, and cold hardiness. The plant is easy to grow and suitable for cold-climate regions due to its resilience.
The fruits of this variety are large, broad-pear-shaped, weighing 230 to 370 grams. The fruit skin is firm, medium-thick, golden-yellow with a beautiful pink blush, giving them an attractive appearance. The flesh is creamy, semi-oily, sweet, juicy, and aromatic, with a pleasant taste. The ripening period falls at the end of September — beginning of October, and the fruits store well until January, allowing for long-term use.
Dekanka Krasnokut'ska pear is rich in vitamins, microelements, and fruit acids that positively affect the nervous, digestive, and immune systems of the body. Its high flavor quality and beneficial properties make this variety popular among gardeners and consumers. Reviews confirm its ease of cultivation and stable yield, making it an excellent choice for lovers of high-quality winter pears.
