Golden Autumn

Golden Autumn pear is a winter variety with a late ripening period, maturing at the end of October, while consumer ripeness is reached at the end of October to early November. The fruits are large, weighing 250–300 grams, with conical or blunt-oval shape. The skin is thin, smooth, and dry, slightly russeted, greenish-yellow in color during edible ripeness, turning golden-yellow with a bright red blush on the sun-exposed side when fully ripe. Numerous gray lenticels are visible on the surface. The flesh is white, juicy, oily, and melting, with a harmonious sweet-sour flavor. The tree is low-growing with a neat, compact crown, exhibiting high winter hardiness and tolerance to temperatures down to -28 to -30 degrees Celsius. The variety is resistant to scab and leaf burn, ensuring reliable and long-lasting fruiting. The fruits have good transportability and can be stored in a refrigerator until February-March, preserving their freshness and flavor for an extended period. Golden Autumn pear is characterized by high yield and regular fruiting. The fruits have a pleasant sweet-sour taste with a tender, oily texture and distinct aroma. Due to their dessert qualities and juiciness, they are suitable for fresh consumption.
