Syaivo

The 'Siaivo' pear variety is a new selection from the Transnistrian Research Station for Horticulture, created through hybridization of Nicolae Krier and Grata varieties. This winter variety features medium-sized trees with compact crowns that begin fruiting as early as the 3rd-4th year. One of the key features of 'Siaivo' is its early fruiting, high drought and cold resistance, as well as excellent disease resistance.

The fruits are large, with an average weight of about 269 grams, have a classic pear shape and attractive appearance. Their color ranges from greenish-yellow to a light, slightly blurred reddish hue. The flesh has medium density, creamy-white, tender and juicy texture, giving the fruits exceptional taste qualities. The harvest period falls at the end of October, allowing the fruits to be used during the winter.

This pear variety is ideal for cultivation in conditions requiring resistance to adverse climatic factors and diseases. Due to its characteristics, 'Siaivo' is popular among gardeners seeking a stable and high-quality harvest of large and tasty pears.
