Seedling from open pollination of the 'Connet' variety. Obtained in the USA in 1891. Approved for the North Caucasus region in 1947.
Strong-growing tree with an open, spreading crown. Flowers are rose-like.
Fruits are oval, large, 120 g. The fruit apex is rounded, slightly blunt, with a characteristic pit for the variety. The depression is deep and wide. Fruit color is greenish-cream. The blush is in the form of streaks and spots, ranging from bright raspberry to burgundy, covering up to a quarter of the fruit surface. Skin is densely hairy, thick, firm, and slightly rough. Flesh is greenish-cream, fibrous, juicy, tart-sweet, aromatic. Stone is medium-sized, egg-shaped, does not detach, often cracks.
Enhanced winter hardiness. Relatively resistant to Clasterosporium. High yield. A table variety. Early maturing.
