Medium-sized, fast-growing tree. Round, spreading crown of medium density. Branches are medium-length, straight, red on the sun-exposed side, greenish on the underside, with few but large thorns. Buds are triple, with two lateral generative buds and one central vegetative bud. Generative buds are located in the lower and middle parts of the branch. Leaves are large, broad, elliptic-elongated, tapering at the apex, light green, smooth, matte. Leaf blade is curved downward, apex gradually tapering. Leaf margin is coarsely serrated, base slightly lobed, no stipules. Petiole is short, medium thickness, reddish-green, with medium-sized glands, 2 per leaf, yellow, round. Flowers are solitary, rose-like, medium size, pink-colored. Fruits are primarily borne on mixed branches.
Fruits are medium-sized, medium uniformity, weight up to 130 g, diameter in two planes 52-47 mm, height 60 mm, oval-elongated shape, compressed laterally. Apex is slightly elongated, pit wide and deep, base with depression, ventral suture of medium depth, pedicel short, easily separates from the branch, main fruit color yellow with carmine blush. Flesh is orange-yellow, medium density, tender-fibrous, juice colorless, sweet with pleasant acidity. Peel is medium, slightly hairy, easily removed from the fruit. Taste rating of fresh fruit 4.6 points, compote 4.6 points. Dry matter content in fruit — 11.0%, sugars — 9.58%, acids — 0.75%, ascorbic acid — 12.1 mg/100g. Pit is medium, easily separates from flesh, poorly separates under water deficiency, elongated-tapered, with pits, flattened laterally, constitutes 5.85% of fruit mass. Fruits ripen simultaneously on trees, keep 8-10 days, transportable, universal use.
Flowering period 20 April — 1 May. Enters fruiting stage on the 4th year of life. Early ripening. Harvesting period 20-26 July. Yield from 1983 to 2000 averaged 153.1 centners/ha, maximum 300 centners/ha. Variety is relatively resistant to curly shoot disease, clasterosporiosis, and frost. Generative buds are not damaged by spring frosts, fruiting occurs annually.
