The 'Melitopol Early' peach is an early, large-fruited variety ripening in the second or third decade of July. The fruits are round-oval in shape with a slightly elongated apex and average weight of 125–130 grams. The skin is thin, cream-colored with a pink blush covering about two-thirds of the fruit's surface on the sun-exposed side. The velvety fuzz is easily removable, and the flesh is white, creamy, tender, fibrous, juicy, with a balanced sweet-sour flavor and colorless juice. The taste score of this variety is 4.5 points, indicating high fruit quality.
The trees form a dense, rounded-oval canopy. The fruit stalks are short and thick, easily detach from the branch but firmly hold to the pit. The plant is self-pollinating, simplifying its cultivation. For successful growth and fruiting, neutral soil and sufficient sunlight are required. The variety is highly winter-hardy, tolerating temperatures down to –27 °C, making it suitable for cultivation in Ukraine's climatic conditions.
To maintain plant health and high yields, fertilizers such as Osмокот and humates are recommended, along with regular treatments against pests and diseases using products like брунька, copper sulfate, хорус, твикс, скор, and актофит. Grafted saplings reach a height of 150–180 cm by age 1–2 years, simplifying planting and care.
