Peach variety 'Gift of Kyiv' is a medium-sized, multi-year fruit tree with a dense, broadly oval crown and high branching capacity. The trunk and main skeletal branches have gray, peeling bark, while the branches are long, thick, dark burgundy, and lack pubescence. The tree demonstrates excellent adaptability, moderate frost resistance, and the ability to withstand prolonged dry periods, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.
The fruits of peach 'Gift of Kyiv' are large, weighing 150–200 grams, round in shape with a rounded apex and narrow groove. The skin is thin, medium-thick, with a soft, weak pubescence, easily removable from the fruit. The main skin color is creamy with a blurred carmine-burgundy blush. The flesh is creamy-white, juicy, dense, with a slightly tart-sweet flavor. The stone separates easily, while the peduncle remains firmly attached. The fruits have good transportability, suitable for both fresh consumption and commercial use.
This variety begins fruiting on the 3rd–4th year after planting the sapling in its permanent location, with rapid yield increase — by the first two years, yield reaches approximately 25 kg per tree. The harvest period falls in the third decade of July to early August, which is considered early. Peach 'Gift of Kyiv' exhibits high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew and clasterosporiosis, and has a long productive life up to 18–20 years, making it a profitable and long-lasting variety for cultivation.
