Introduced at the Crimean Experimental Selection Station of VNIIR. Seedling from open pollination of the 'Golden Anniversary' variety. Authors: I.M. Ryadnova, G.V. Yeremin, T.S. Vasilenko. The variety was officially approved in 1987 for the North Caucasus region.
Medium-sized tree with a moderately dense, rounded crown. Bark on branches dark gray. Shoots bare, straight. Numerous, light-colored thorns. Vegetative buds round, slightly hairy, apex slightly elongated. Leaves medium-sized, dark green, smooth, glossy. Apex tooth long, base of leaf wedge-shaped. Leaf margin serrated. Leaf petiole short, glands large, yellow-green, medium number, oval-shaped. Stipules medium-sized. Flowers medium-sized, bell-shaped, bright pink.
Fruits medium to large, 110–170 g, slightly flattened oval, slightly compressed on sides. Fruit pit round, with sharp beak. Base without pit. Abdominal suture barely visible. Fruit color yellow with a solid bright red blush. Skin moderately hairy. Flesh yellow, sufficiently firm, juicy, excellent flavor. Pit large, easily detachable. Fruits suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and transportation.
Ripens in the first decade of August. Moderate cold hardiness of flower buds and wood. Self-fertile, moderately resistant to fungal diseases.
