Javor

The Javor pea variety is a mid-early maturing type recommended for cultivation in the Polissya and forest-steppe regions. This variety features high yield potential, ranging from 2.9 to 3.5 tons per hectare. Plants reach a height of 58 to 85 centimeters, facilitating ease of agronomic operations and harvest. Thousand-grain weight varies between 231-236 grams, indicating large, high-quality seeds.

The Javor variety is characterized by high protein content — from 21 to 23% — making it a valuable source of plant-based protein. Additionally, peas possess good nutritional qualities, including starch, sugars, and vitamins, broadening their application in food industry and therapeutic nutrition. Peas are widely used as a grain crop and for agronomic purposes, confirming their importance in Ukrainian agriculture.

It demonstrates resistance to diseases such as fusarium, septoria, ascochytosis, rust, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and bacterial root rot.
