Pea FAETON

Reliable performance in the grain field

Pea variety "Phaeton" is designed for agronomists who prioritize predictability and economic efficiency. Developed by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center, this variety is strictly focused on grain production. Operators appreciate the crop's technological suitability: it is well-suited for direct combining, which minimizes harvest losses and simplifies field operations.

Agronomic resilience

The variety shows robust resistance to downy mildew (peronosporosis) and fusarium. In humid conditions, where other varieties would require additional fungicide applications, "Phaeton" maintains a healthy stem, directly reducing operational costs and the need for frequent machinery traffic. Its medium height ensures good resistance to lodging, allowing the header to operate smoothly without overloading the equipment.

Yield and quality factors

For agricultural enterprises, grain fill is paramount. "Phaeton" provides a thousand-grain weight (TGW) ranging from 180 to 260 grams, depending on soil and climate conditions. This adaptability allows machine operators to fine-tune equipment settings to achieve maximum output without damaging the grain coat. It is a reliable solution for high-quality, market-ready grain production.
