Variety distinguishing features. Variety with toothed form (ssp. indentata). Plant height 250-270 cm. Ear attachment height 90-95 cm. Leaf number 16-17. Ear length 23-24 cm. Row number of kernels 16-18. Grain yield 84-86%. Ear stalk red. 1000 kernel weight 290-300 g.
Biological features. Maturity group Medium-early FAO 310. Growth period from emergence to full maturity 112-114 days. Initial growth rapid. Cold resistance high. Drought resistance high. Resistance to lodging high. Resistance to ear drooping high. Resistance to aerial smut high. Resistance to blister smut high. Resistance to stalk rot high. Resistance to corn borer high.
Agronomic features. Potential grain yield 14.5-16.5 t/ha. Recommended planting density for Forest-steppe 58-60 thousand/ha and for Polesie 60-65 thousand/ha. Harvest moisture 24-25%. Dry matter content in green mass 34-35%. Protein content in grain 9.8-10.2%. Starch content 74.6%.
Hybrid seed production is carried out on sterile M-type basis by full restoration scheme without inflorescence break. Sterility of maternal form 99-100%. Optimal planting scheme of parental forms on hybridization sites 12:4; 8:4. Seed plots require high agronomic practices, weed control, and nutrient conditions. Seed yield under favorable conditions 1.8-2.0 t/ha.
