Miscanthus Adagio — a decorative perennial grassy shrub from the grass family, reaching a height of 100-120 cm. The plant features a compact, bushy form with upright green stems that turn copper or red in autumn. Its narrow, stiff leaves have a gray-silver sheen that turns golden in autumn, creating an eye-catching decorative palette. Flowering begins in August and continues until October, appearing as small panicles that change color from pink to cream.

For successful Miscanthus Adagio cultivation, select sunny or slightly shaded areas with fertile and moderately moist soil. The plant requires regular watering during droughts. Despite its decorative qualities, this variety has weak frost tolerance, so the plants require additional winter protection from cold. Stems are not pruned, as they serve as natural protection and maintain decorative appeal during winter.

Miscanthus Adagio is widely used in landscape design to create vertical accents, decorate flower beds and mixed compositions, as well as for greening areas near water bodies.
