Darnel MATHILDE

Premium decorative grass for effortless landscapes

For professionals seeking a reliable, low-maintenance solution for turf management, the 'Matild' variety by DLF (Denmark) represents a top-tier choice in the rye grass category. Combining aesthetic appeal with robust biological resistance, this variety is engineered to maintain a deep green color with minimal human intervention.

Practical application in turf management

The 'Matild' variety is purpose-built for scenarios where maintaining high visual standards would otherwise require intensive labor and cost. It is highly recommended for:

• Private residential landscapes and estate lawns requiring low-input maintenance.
• Public parklands and high-traffic ornamental green zones.
• Areas prone to fungal pressure, where durability and health are paramount.

The standout feature of 'Matild' is its natural resistance to fusarium. In climates where high humidity often compromises turf health, this variety holds its ground, significantly reducing the need for chemical fungicide applications. This makes it an economically sound choice for large-scale landscaping and municipal projects where operational efficiency is the priority.

Why choose DLF Danish genetics?

DLF maintains rigorous quality control in their breeding programs. When you choose 'Matild', you are investing in a product with consistent germination and uniform development. The variety is designed to establish quickly, forming a dense turf that naturally resists weed encroachment. This trait, combined with its minimal care requirements, allows landscape managers to shift focus from reactive maintenance to proactive planning.

Whether for a high-end private garden or a sustainable public lawn, 'Matild' offers the perfect balance of resilience, aesthetic color, and cost-effectiveness. It is a proven performer for those who demand professional results without the burden of excessive maintenance cycles.
