Darnel Henrietta

German breeding for superior turf performance

The 'Henrietta' variety from Feldsaaten Freudenberger GmbH&Co.KG is a choice for landscape professionals and private homeowners focused on creating flawless turf coverage. As a decorative ryegrass variant engineered in Germany, it is specifically selected for high-density growth, visual uniformity, and a vibrant, consistent color profile.

Practical application scenarios

• High-end residential landscaping: Due to its genetic ability for vigorous tillering, 'Henrietta' quickly forms a dense turf mat. It is ideal for lawns where aesthetic appeal and visual texture are the primary requirements.
• Renovation and overseeding: With its reliable germination and establishment rates, this variety is highly effective for repairing damaged patches or thickening existing swards, ensuring a uniform appearance across the entire site.
• Professional landscape projects: The stability provided by German breeding ensures consistent performance under various climatic conditions, reducing the risks for contractors working on high-visibility projects.

In field practice, 'Henrietta' responds exceptionally well to intensive management. With proper irrigation and a structured mowing schedule, it develops a carpet-like density that remains tidy throughout the season. Unlike forage-type varieties, this ornamental ryegrass maintains a moderate regrowth rate after cutting, saving time on maintenance. Opting for genetics from Feldsaaten Freudenberger means choosing proven quality, high purity, and predictable results for any landscaping task.
