Darnel MIRTELLO

Aesthetics and Functionality: Why Choose Mirtello

For agricultural holdings and landscaping companies focused on creating sustainable green spaces with minimal labor input, the Mirtello variety of clover from the German breeding giant Deutsche Saatveredelung is an optimal solution. This variety was developed for those who want to avoid constant mowing and complex maintenance while still achieving predictable and neat results from their sowing material.

Practical Field Application

The primary value of this variety lies in its compactness. With a plant height of 30–50 cm, it is perfectly suited for several specific tasks:

• Landscaping around farm buildings and storage zones, where it is important to prevent dust without creating obstacles for heavy machinery.
• Creating decorative buffer strips that do not require frequent mowing.
• Establishing long-lasting ground cover in areas with low-intensity maintenance schedules.

The minimal maintenance requirements make this variety a top choice for farms where labor resources are limited. Mirtello adapts excellently to various conditions, demonstrating stable growth without the need for excessive fertilizer application or frequent irrigation.

German Breeding Excellence

The Mirtello variety is backed by the reputation of Deutsche Saatveredelung (DSV). Breeders have prioritized endurance and aesthetic appeal. Unlike forage-type varieties, this decorative type is designed to maintain a tidy appearance for a site with minimal human intervention. Using professional seed material from the originator guarantees high purity and uniform germination, which reduces the risk of weed infestation during the early stages of crop development.
