Description GUZERIPIL
GUZERIPIL is a mid-maturing variety of wintering oat (Avena sativa L.) intended for grain-fodder use. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 242 to 267 days and ripens 4-5 days earlier than the Podgorny variety. The weight of 1000 grains ranges from 29 to 36 grams, and the grain naturalness varies within 440-490 g/l. Protein content in the grain is at the level of 7-10%, which is slightly lower than that of Podgorny. The maximum yield of the variety reaches 46.9 centners per hectare. Guzeripil is distinguished by resistance to bacterial speckle, crown, and stem rust, which increases its reliability during cultivation.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, in particular in the Republic of Adygea. In agricultural tests, Guzeripil showed good adaptation to early sowing dates, which makes it a preferable choice for early sowing. The optimal predecessor for this variety is corn for green fodder, which contributes to increased yield and improved crop quality. At optimal sowing dates, the sowing rate can be reduced to 2 million grains per hectare, which allows saving on seed material without loss of productivity.

Thus, Guzeripil represents a reliable and productive variety of wintering oat, possessing good disease resistance and adapted to the conditions of the North Caucasus region. Its grain is suitable for use in grain-fodder purposes, and the agronomic features of the variety allow effective planning of sowings and obtaining stable yields.
