Oat BLITZ

The spring oat variety «Blitz» is a mid-season and drought-resistant variety created through the joint efforts of the Ural Institute of Agricultural Sciences and the Perm Federal Research Center. It is characterized by high yield, which exceeds standard indicators by approximately 15%, and matures in about 84 days. Plants reach a height of about 84 cm, while the weight of 1000 grains is 33.7 grams, indicating good seed productivity of the variety.

«Blitz» possesses resistance to a range of diseases, including loose smut, crown rust, and stem rust, as well as resistance to lodging. The grain contains a relatively low percentage of hulls—26.9%, which improves product quality. The average yield of the variety is 46.5 centners per hectare, reaching a maximum of 53.1 centners, making it profitable for cultivation in various regions.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in such regions as Sverdlovsk, Tver, Yaroslavl oblasts, and the Perm Krai. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, «Blitz» is a reliable choice for agricultural enterprises seeking to obtain a stable and high oat yield with good agronomic indicators.
