Spring black mustard (Brassica nigra) variety intended for food purposes and seed, green mass, and cover crop cultivation. The vegetative period is 75-80 days, after which full ripeness is achieved. The plant is tall and long, with lower branches attached at a height of 35-40 cm, and leaves remain green until harvest. Flowers are bright yellow, with racemose inflorescences, ensuring good visibility during mechanized harvesting.

Black mustard seeds are characterized by a brown color and a medium weight of 1000 seeds. The fat content in seeds ranges from 32% to 46.5%, while allyl oil is stable at about 1.3%. An important indicator for the food industry is the glucosinolate content in the meal – 15.5 micromoles/g. These parameters make the variety suitable for both mustard sauce production and use as a spice.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to shattering, lodging, and drought, as well as protection against pests and diseases. Thanks to these properties, it is easily amenable to mechanized harvesting, which reduces processing costs and increases yield. Seed yield reaches 24.5 c/ha, and green mass – up to 285 c/ha, ensuring economic efficiency for farmers.
