Mustard "LEERA" – an early-maturing spring variety of Sarepta mustard (Sinapis alba L.), distinguished by its high productivity and resistance to adverse conditions. Plants reach a height of about 143 cm, have a medium rosette diameter, and smooth leaf surfaces with entire margins. The vegetation period ranges from 75 to 86 days, allowing for rapid seed yield.
Seeds of this variety contain 44–47% oil, which is rich in oleic (up to 40%) and linoleic (about 38%) fatty acids, while erucic acid is absent or present in minimal concentrations. Oil content reaches 47%, and the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 3.2 to 3.8 g, making "LEERA" attractive for oil production and feed mixtures.
The variety shows high resistance to brown rust, does not lodge under high temperatures and air drought. Due to good competitiveness and high green mass productivity, plants can be used as a cover crop or siderate to improve soil structure and suppress weeds. As a result, "LEERA" ensures a stable seed yield (2.0–2.2 t/ha) and high product quality, making it in demand among farmers operating in various climatic regions.
