Beautiful Hill is an annual fast-maturing cold-resistant plant that grows quickly and is ready for harvest within 25-30 days after seedlings appear. Seeds are sown in rows at a distance of 10–15 cm from each other, with a planting depth of about 1 cm. Thinning is carried out at the 2-3 leaf stage, leaving 6–8 cm between plants, which ensures optimal root system development and growth of a large rosette.
The leaves of the hill have a dark red color, elongated-oval shape, and lack a waxy coating. They are rich in carotene, vitamins, calcium, and iron, and possess a pleasant mustard taste, which is enhanced with sufficient soil moisture. Under moisture deficiency, leaves become coarse and their aroma deteriorates.
The variety is intended for growing fresh greens both in open and protected ground. Harvest begins when plants reach a height of 5–7 cm; mustard can be cut with scissors or pulled out with roots. This makes it convenient for use in cooking, where fresh leaves add spice and aroma to dishes.
