Millet ROSIYANKA

Stable Yields Without Unpleasant Surprises

The «Rossiyanka» millet variety, developed by the Samara Federal Research Center (RAS), is tailored for farmers who prioritize predictability over high-risk strategies. In an era of unstable climate patterns and persistent threats of plant diseases, this variety acts as a robust tool for crop protection.

Agronomic Foundation

The primary advantage of «Rossiyanka» is its comprehensive genetic resistance. While many varieties necessitate intensive insecticide applications, this millet exhibits natural immunity to the millet midge (stenodiplosis panici). Additionally, breeders have prioritized protection against smut, which is essential for maintaining grain quality and marketability during storage.

Key Benefits for Your Farm

• Stalk Architecture: The variety's high resistance to lodging allows for efficient, timely harvesting with minimal losses, even under challenging weather conditions during the maturation phase.
• Breeding Integrity: Patent-held by the Samara Federal Research Center of the RAS and developed by Alexander and Konstantin Antimonov, the variety guarantees high purity and consistent performance.
• Adaptability: Designed specifically for regions with challenging agricultural climates, it performs reliably where others may fail.

«Rossiyanka» is not about chasing records at any cost; it is about achieving a consistently high output of marketable grain. This variety is ideal for farms aiming to reduce pesticide dependency and minimize risks associated with lodging.
