Millet KRASAVINA'S MEMORY

Reliable Yields in Arid Conditions

For farmers focusing on risk management, the «Pamyati Krasavina» millet variety is a pragmatic choice. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Biological Systems and Agrotechnologies, this variety is engineered to withstand challenging environmental conditions, ensuring a stable performance without requiring overly complex cultivation protocols.

Field Performance and Operational Benefits

• Vigorous Growth and Weed Suppression: The seeds exhibit high germination energy, leading to rapid canopy closure. This helps outcompete weeds in the early stages, effectively reducing the need for intensive herbicide applications.
• Drought Resilience: This is the standout feature of the variety. During moisture-stressed periods, the plants maintain steady metabolic rates, avoiding premature wilting and ensuring proper grain filling. The stalks remain resistant to lodging, allowing for efficient harvesting with minimal grain loss.
• Efficient Threshing: The variety is easy to thresh, which simplifies combine settings. Since the grain is less prone to mechanical damage during the harvesting process, it maintains higher quality for both commercial sale and future seed storage.

Operational reliability is the core advantage of this variety. It offers consistent results, simplifying the post-harvest chain including cleaning and drying. For the field operator, it means fewer surprises and a predictable output, even when the season turns extreme.
