Millet DISCOUNT

Stable Yields in Arid Climates

The 'Discount' millet variety, developed by the 'Active Agro' breeding center, is a robust solution to the main challenge of high-risk agricultural regions: erratic rainfall. Unlike many mid-season varieties, 'Discount' exhibits superior adaptability to environmental stressors, making it a reliable tool for consistent production.

Key Advantages

• High Lodging Resistance: This is a critical factor for mechanized harvesting. The stiff stalk design minimizes field losses during direct combining, even if harvest is slightly delayed.
• Technological Uniformity: Breeders M.S. Serebryakova and V.I. Zhuzhukin focused on crop uniformity. The crop matures evenly, facilitating smoother harvesting operations and improving final grain quality.
• Drought Tolerance: The genetic potential of the variety allows it to withstand short-term soil moisture deficits without critical yield loss, making it a preferred choice for producers in challenging climatic zones.

'Discount' is optimal for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality commercial grain while reducing chemical input costs and minimizing lodging risks. This variety represents an engineered agricultural solution for those who value predictable field performance.
