The Altyn F1 melon variety is a mid-early pineapple-type hybrid intended for cultivation by experienced gardeners and farmers engaged in small-scale production. The plant is robust and well-leafed, possesses high coverage capability, which allows successful cultivation under temporary film coverings using a drip irrigation system. Altyn melon fruits have an oval shape and weigh from 3 to 6 kg, with an orange-yellow rind covered with a dense netting at full maturity. Thanks to these characteristics, the melon has a magnificent commercial appearance and good transportability, making it attractive for sales and storage.

The variety is resistant to diseases such as fusarium and powdery mildew, which significantly reduces risks during cultivation. The maturity period is 60-65 days; sowing is recommended in May. The yield of marketable fruits when grown under film coverings reaches 5.9-6.3 kg per square meter, which confirms the high productivity of the variety.
