Grozinskyi 9 is a universal variety of narrow-leaved lupine, distinguished by high productivity of both grain and seeds. In studies conducted in the Polesie region of Ukraine, this variety achieved grain yields in the range of 25.1–30.7 c/ha and output of conditioned seeds of 22.3–27.9 c/ha, indicating its effectiveness under various agronomic conditions.
The optimal sowing rate for the standard row method is 1.2 million seeds/ha. With such planting and a soil temperature of approximately 8 °C, the plant develops maximally: the number of seeds and vegetative mass increases, leading to an increase in stem height and leaf mass. Fertilization with phosphorus-potassium fertilizers together with moderate nitrogen rates (N30P60K60) contributes to increased grain yield.
A key factor for success is foliar feeding: two applications of water-soluble NPK fertilizers in combination with microelements provide plants with the necessary reserve of nutrients, maintaining their health and productivity throughout the entire vegetative period. Thanks to these agronomic practices, Grozinskyi 9 demonstrates stable stem height and increased leaf mass, making it an attractive choice for farmers looking for a reliable and productive lupine variety.
